Decided to try this place and come to find out my friend knows the cook. This bar-b-q was delicious. The brisket was juicy and fatty just like I like it. The chicken was good too. The beans were soooooo good, they but meat in the beans. Those beans were not from a can. The Mac & Cheese was ok, could have been a little more saucy. Overall I would definitely go back for the brisket.

From the flavorful, well seasoned (ancestors call) skin to the chicken itself. Finger-licking good. Happy Friday, 08/09/24 *Proceed carefully. May cause a person to slap their mother. It’s that good.*

We've been going for years. Absolutely the best BBQ we've found in Texas and the ONLY place we can get rib tips!! As you can see from the pics we eat there as often as possible. Never thought I'd eat deer sausage, now I have to have it!!

RUN DON’T WALK to this establishment. I’ve had a lot of BBQ here in Houston, and I can say with confidence that this is the BEST in the city. Trust me. Hitters is a black owned restaurant operated by family. My food was delicious and customer service was great. Ratings for specific items below: Pork Spare Ribs: 10/10 Pork Rib Tips: 10/10 Brisket Beans: 10/10 (Seasoned to perfection) Loaded Mac & Cheese: 9/10

Texas BBQ has always been a hit or Miss for me. This time Hitter’s hit it on the nail. The meat was perfectly seasoned and smoked. Wasn’t dry. It was juicy and flavorful. The meat didn’t even need any sauce. As for the brisket baked beans, some of the best beans I’ve ever had. You can tell they were fresh and made from scratch. Look like I just found my new BBQ joint.

If you're looking for barely smoked, tastes like it was mostly cooked in an oven food, then don't go here. I got chicken and brisket, the salad came from my garden. The brisket had a nice crust, as pictured. Deep smoke flavor with a little char. It goes great with what tastes like sweet homemade bbq sauce. The chicken was not dry and had good smoke flavor and the skin was fairly crispy. One cool thing they do here I've never seen anywhere else - Texas toast instead of plain white bread. Genius and a delicious but simple compliment to already good food.

Opened the wrong door, and was instantly hit with the “good food aroma” lol. No but I came across this place on accident, and boy I am happy that I did. The food is Amazing!!!! I had pork rib tips, mild boudin, brisket and chicken. I love that they provide the sauce on the side, I don’t like sauce on my meat. I tried their bbq sauce and it did not disappoint. Came with crackers and some good butter bread too!! Black owned, clean, great vibe, friendly staff. Absolutely outstanding!!!! Must visit- they have deserts too, ima try them on my next visit.

I don't know why anyone would give Hitters anything less than a 5 Star... We only tried the brisket baked beans because there is no dine in and our office is far away...but seriously, next time I'm bringing a pop up table and eating in front of my car. These brisket baked beans by far exceed all levels of expectations...probably because I like my beans sweet y'all and these beans have pieces of brisket in there all swimming around minding their own business until your fork catches it and boom in your mouth it goes! We will have to go back, soon. Parking is a bit hairy...but it's worth the trouble. I'm now a self proclaimed fan.
